Safety features

This convector heater features a protection system designed to protect it and to minimise the risk
of fire.
Please be aware that this mechanism is not intended to act as an auto-stop or other convenience
function. Always switch the appliance off, unplug from the power socket and allow the convector to
cool before moving, cleaning or putting it into storage.
Tip-over switch
The heater switches off if the heater tips over or is tilted beyond a safe angle. Return the heater to the
normal upright position to resume normal function.
Overheating protection
If there is any danger of the appliance overheating (e.g. because something is covering it or due
to power supply overload), the built-in overheating protection will switch the heater off. Unplug the
appliance and allow it to cool.
Wait for the appliance to cool down sufficiently before turning the power back on.
A common cause of overheating is a build-up of dust or
fluff inside the appliance. You are advised to clean the
appliance regularly and to use a vacuum cleaner to
