4 Troubleshooting

Always assign skilled workers for executing the works, refer to Chapter 1.3 "Qualification
of People".

Two-way valves, types 204, 205 pneumatically actuated with rotary drive
Before all works: Always assign an electrician to disconnect the power supply.
Before all works: Disconnect the compressed air supply and the pipework
system as well as existing pressure storage systems.
Always wear protective gloves e.g. when removing blockages.

Power supply disrupted
Compressed air supply

Supply pressure too low
Sound absorber soiled or
defective
Hose connection leaking or hose
is damaged
Blockage in two-way valve
Foreign body in two-way valve
Two-way valve assembled too

Shaft in bearing jammed
Rotary unit defective
Manual emergency actuation of
the solenoid valve is offset
Troubleshooting
Measure(s)
Inspect power supply
Inspect compressed air supply
Adjust supply pressure
Clean sound absorber or, if
necessary, replace
Seal connection or
replace hose
Remove blockage
Remove foreign body
Loosen tension
Replace defective component
Replace rotary unit
Position the manual emergency
actuation to the zero position
