1.7 Transport and storage
Inspect packaging upon delivery as well as the packaging contents for visible damage
before assembly. Never install damaged parts, instead submit a claim for them to the
manufacturer and/or dealer.
During transportation observe the following:
• Prevent mechanical shocks and vibrations.
• Never stack packages.
• Protect the packaging from becoming wet.
• Always observe the safety signs (pictograms) on the packaging.
During storage observe the following:
• Never stack packages.
• Do not store outside.
• Always store in a dry and dust-free area.
• Do not expose to aggressive media.
• Protect against sunlight.
• Storage temperature: +5 °C to +40 °C. Avoid high temperature variations.
• Relative humidity: < 60 %
• Remove the packaging just before assembly.
• For long-term storage (> 9 months): Lightly oil metallic parts.
Refer to the operating instructions from the supplier components for additional
information.
1.8 Disposal
Always adhere to regional disposal regulations for environmental protection.
• Recycle packaging material.
• Recycle metal parts.
• Electrical equipment e.g. electric motors:
Electrical devices are subject to Directive 2002/96/EC and national laws within the
European Economic Area (EEA).
This Directive requires an environmentally friendly recycling and/or disposal.
