3 Assembly and Operating

3.1 Assembling the two-way valve

Always assign skilled workers for executing the works, refer to Chapter 1.3 "Qualification
of People".
Pneumatic and electrical connections:
 The end-stop positions are adjusted to the geometry of the flaps by the
manufacturer.
 Refer to Chapter "Terminal Diagram" for pin assignment for electrical connections.
 Always pay attention when connecting the compressed air supply to ensure the the
manual emergency actuation for the solenoid valve is located in the zero position.
 Refer to the respective operating instructions for the connections for rotary drive,
solenoid valve and end-stop position switch.

Danger to life caused by electrical shock
• Before all works: Always assign an electrician to disconnect the power
supply.
Serious crushing
• Before all works: Disconnect the compressed air supply and the
pipework system as well as existing pressure storage systems.
