7. STARTUP AND OPERATION
7.1. Preliminary checks before start-up of the pump
Do not start-up the device in case of damaged parts.
7.2. First starting
GB
OFF
After connecting the supply cables and the motor
cables, and after filling the pump, (pressure mode
only) rotate the door-lock master switch and switch on
the power supply.
7.3. Programming guide
On the dysplay of electronic card the following
information are displayed:
• Parameters of pumps status
• Programming parameters
• Alarm
7.3.1. Parameters of pumps status
They allow to visualize:
• The input signal (float switches/level probes/
pressure switch/remote signals).
• the motor current.
• the pump state (ON-OFF).
• the status of the individual pumps (AUTOMATIC or
STOP status).
• the operating hours of each individual pump.
7.3.2. Programming parameters
7.3.2.1. Advanced parameter settings
Changing the operating modes cause, the

7.3.2.2. AP - Advanced settings
These settings are available only to qualified personnel.
AP01 - MODE
It defines the mode of operation: drainage or pressure
mode.

(menu).
AP02 - TOTAL NUMBER OF PUMPS
It defines the total number of pumps used.
AP03 - SENSOR CURRENT
It defines the motor protection: amperometric or
thermal relay.
The set parameter should not be changed.
Any change can cause damage to the
electric motor.
AP04 - LEVEL SENSOR (drainage mode)
It defines the type of sensor used to start and stop the
pump. Float switch or level sensor.
AP05 - MOTORPROTECTOR (drainage mode)
It defines the presence or not of the motor protectors.
Not present, internal or external.
AP06 - N° OF OPERATING FLOAT SWITCHES
(drainage mode)
It sets the number of float switch used to start/stop
the pump. It is not considered the float for high-level
alarm.
AP07 - PRESSURE SENSOR (pressure mode)
It defines the type of sensor used to start and stop the
pump. Pressure switch or pressure transducer.
AP08 - OPERATION (pressure mode)
It defines the type of operation: normal or timed.
AP09 - DRYRUN PROTECT. (pressure mode)
It defines the signal used for protection against dry
pump operation: float switches or flow switch.
AP10 - SENSOR FULL SCALE (pressure mode)
It defines the full scale of the pressure transducer.
