IV. OPERATION
1. SWITCHING ON THE BLAST CHILLER. Pressing the ON/OFF key, it performs a flash-test by making all the
leds flash for 5 seconds. It then goes into Stand-by or Operational mode. After 20 minutes of inactivity on
the keypad, the blast chiller returns to standby.
2. OPERATING MODE The controller of this blast chiller allows management of the basic functions of a blast
chiller:
- Positive chilling or cooling
- Negative chilling or freezing
- End of blast chilling with core or time probe
- Conservation
- Manual or automatic defrosting with or without resistance. There are three types of programs:
A. POSITIVE defined according to the temperature set +3°C
B. NEGATIVE with temperature set -18°C
