First use

• Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the packing materials and promo-
tional tags.
• Clean all the components, except for the motor base (1), with hot water and a nor-
mal dish-washing detergent. Abundantly rinse and dry the components before us-
ing them.
Before use check that all the components are intact and they don't
report cracking, in particular the glass (2) and the container (7).

The blades (3, 9, 11a, 11b, 11c) are very sharp, use them very
carefully.
• Clean the appliance body compartment (1) with a wet cloth or a sponge.
Never submerge the appliance body (1) in water or in other
liquids.

• Place the appliance on an horizontal, plane, clean, dry, stable and heat-resistant
surface.
Make sure that the feet (15) are correctly placed on the bearing plane.
• Make sure that the power plug is disconnected from power outlet.
