2. When the electric pump is submerged into water, its depth
shall not exceed 70m and shall be at least 3m above the
water bottom and it shall not be caught in sludge.
Simultaneously keep the mesh enclosure or the
impeller from being blocked by water plants or
sundries, because it may result in malfunction of the
pump. During operation, please frequently check the
water level and make sure that there is enough water
to cover the electric pump.
3. Please arrange a safety warning sign at the place
where the electric pump is installed, which reads
"DANGER: ELECTRIC SHOCK RISK AND NO
ENTRY FOR PEOPLE OR ANIMAL", to prevent any
accident.
3.4 Additional recommended precations
1. Oil-flled electric pumps shall not be filled with any liquid medium other than No. 10 mechanical oil.
2. Oil-filled electric pump filled with No. 10 white food machinery oil so as to ensure that the mechanical seal is
effectively lubricated and cooled, which might leak in case of any damage or fault in the electric pump. The leaked
white oil might damage the plants or the animal bred or pollute the drinking water or food involved in any application
relating to planting, breeding, or delivery or processing of drinking water or food. To select a product, the user shall
evaluate the relevant application and the consequence of the use of such a product to confirm whether the product
is suitable. If necessary, professionals shall be invited for confirmation. In case of leakage of white oil, the user shall
immediately stop using the product and handle it properly.
3. If the position of the electric pump needs to be adjusted or the electric pump needs to be touched while the electric
pump is running, the power supply must be disconnected first to avoid accidents.
4. If the pump is installed far away from power supply, the cable need to be extended in length and thickened in
diameter.
4. Maintance
1. The matters that needs attention prior to the disassembly of the motor for maintenance: first wait until the motor has
cooled down, then unscrew the oil filler bole to release the high-pressure gas generated inside due to burn-in, so that
the top cover will not pop out and hurt people.
2. Regularly inspect the insulation resistance between the motor bracket and the winding of the electric pump, which
shall not be less than 1MΩ when the operating temperature is nearly achieved. Otherwise, the use of the pump shall
not be allowed until the corresponding maintenance measures are taken and the relevant requirements are met.
3. After 2500 hours of normal use of the electric pump, the electric pump shall be delivered to a qualified repair station
Warning
for maintenance and repair as per the following steps:
a) check wearing parts, e.g. rolling bearing, mechanical seal, and impeller, which must be replaced if damaged.
b) After the completion of
inspection and repair, please do an
air pressure test under the pressure
of 0.2MPa for 5 minutes, and no
leakage or sweating shall occur.
