Connect the hood and discharge holes on the walls with a diameter
equivalent to the air outlet (connection flange).
Using the tubes and discharge holes on walls with smaller
dimensions will cause a diminution of the suction performance and a
drastic increase in noise.
Any responsibility in the matter is therefore declined.
! Use a duct of the minimum indispensable length.
! Use a duct with as few elbows as possible (maximum elbow
angle: 90°).
! Avoid drastic changes in the duct cross-section.
Filtration version
The aspirated air will be degreased and deodorised before being fed
back into the room.
In order to use the hood in this version, you have to install a system of
additional filtering based on activated charcoal.

FOR THE INSTALLER: responsibility for
installation of the hood, including verification
of the conformity of the assembly kit
eventually supplied with the product, rests
exclusively with the installer.
Below is a non-exhaustive list of instructions,
useful to the installer (who should use a
professional gypsum board installer) to
install the gypsum board:
- use fireproof gypsum board panels
(compliant with art. 30 of IEC/EN
60335-2-31),
operating conditions in terms of
temperature (at least 80°C) and
humidity (at least 93%) reached
during application;
- the total weight of the gypsum board
must be
suitable for the

- secure the plasterboard to the hood
through fixing points C (diameter 4.5
mm), featured on the metal panel;
- use suitable mechanical parts to
secure the plasterboard (not included
in the assembly kit). The use of
metric flat head screws and nuts is
recommended.
Elica denies all liability for damage to
persons or property resulting from incorrect
installation of the gypsum board and/or
product.
The warranty will not be effective in the case of aesthetic
defects caused and/or resulting from improper and inadequate
installation of plasterboard to be used for product finishing, as
its application works is a task to be performed by competent
qualified personnel and under the full responsibility of a third
party other than the Manufacturer.
Operation
This product is designed to work with an Elica remote control, either
supplied with the product or purchased separately as an optional.
To control the hood via remote control, the affiliation procedure must
be carried out.
CAUTION!
To begin, the hood must be disconnected and then reconnected to
the power supply and the affiliation procedure must be carried out
within the first minute of connection to the power.
Read the instructions supplied with the remote control, which provide
detailed instructions on affiliation and correct use.
