IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Always wear a helmet.
• Get used to your new bike and familiarise
yourself with handling, gears and brakes.
• Check that the quick-releases, bolts, brakes
and tire pressure are safe before every ride.
• Follow the traffic rules.
• If necessary have the dealer cut the
handlebars to your desired width.
• If you transport your bike on a bike carrier,
make sure you cover the motor or the entire
bike. Despite the high level of protection
against environmental influences, the water
pressure that occurs at high vehicle speeds
can cause water to penetrate the motor and
damage it.
BEFORE THE FIRST RIDE
• Check that the battery is firmly attached.
Check the charge level of the battery.
When the battery is full, five LEDs light up
after briefly pressing the battery button.
• Check the tight fit of the thru-axles on the
wheels and all important fastening bolts and
nuts, especially handlebars, stem and seat
post.

Turn on your E-Bike:
Your Tout Terrain E-Bike rides with power
assistance when all electrical components
(motor, battery, display) are connected. The E-
Bike can be switched on with the On/Off Button
on the neoREMOTE. If the bike was switched off
for more than three hours, the system will go in
a deep sleep mode to protect the battery. In
this case you need to use the On/ Off button di-
rectly on the battery.
Attention: Don't move or pedal the bike during
the startup process. You can start riding as
soon as the system is completely booted (ap-
prox. 5 seconds after pressing the On/Off But-
ton). Switching the System on while riding can
lead to malfunctions.
Switch off your E-Bike:
If you leave your bike stationary, the system will
turn off automatically after about ten minutes.
For safety reasons, we always recommend
removing the display from the handlebars
when you park the bike. The system should
be switched off before removing it. There will
be no damage if you remove the display
while it or the bike are powered on. Approx.
15 seconds after removing the display, the
system switches off. The light, if it was switched
on, also switches off after approx. 15 seconds.
Attention: After turning off the display, wait
for about 30 seconds until you turn it back on.
This ensures the system will successfully
reboot.
