DESCALING PROCESS
1. Fill half of the water tank.
2. Set the temperature control (7) to the "max" position and plug in the iron.
3. After the necessary warm-up period, the pilot light (9) goes out. Then, unplug the iron (very
important!).
4. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink. Keep the setting
5. Shake the iron back and forth. Boiling water and steam will come out, carrying scale or deposits that
might be there.
6. When the tank is empty, release the steam regulator and set it to position "0". Reconnect the iron to
evaporate the remaining water.
7. Unplug the iron and move it over a preferably old piece of cloth. This ensures that the soleplate is dry
when storing the appliance.
It is recommended to carry out the self-cleaning at least every two weeks.
