Read this document carefully before beginning the installation work.
The installation, maintenance and repair of this enclosure must only be carried out
by qualified and authorised personnel (in accordance with IEC/EN 60079-17 and
IEC/EN 60079-19; IEC/EN 60079-14), whose level of knowledge also extends to the
various degrees of protection and installation practices, and who are also familiar
with the relevant guidelines and regulations as well as the general principles of area
classification.
Ensure that the supplied documentation is accessible to operating staff at all times.
Observe the information on the enclosure's type plate, including the protection class(es),
gas group and temperature class.
Loss of explosion protection due to incorrect installation.
Twisting and straining of the enclosure or cover may cause leakage.
• Ensure that the enclosure is only installed on a flat surface.
• Ensure that the enclosure and cover are not installed under any strain.
Potential risk of injury due to crushing.
• Ensure that you keep your hands and fingers clear when shutting the enclosure.
Risk of burns due to hot surfaces.
• Before commencing work, check the temperature of the enclosure to avoid burns.
Use heat-resistant gloves if necessary.
Potential risk of injury due to sharp edges.
• Depending on the assembly, sharp edges or ridges on the components
may pose a risk of injury. Protect yourself by wearing work gloves.
