REPLACEMENT INTERVAL
The screen must be replaced:
/ every six months at the latest according to DIN EN 13443-1,
/ if the water pressure falls,
/ if the filter screen is visibly dirty.
There is a display slider attached to the cartridge filter with pressure reducer. It
can be slid along the months scale. This enables the screen replacement interval
to be monitored.
If the interval until the next screen replacement is longer than six months, the par-
ticles on the filter screen can stick and thus a large flow resistance can result.
Experience shows that increased dirt is deposited during the initial running peri-
od. If so, the screen has to be replaced more often than usual.
Failure to replace the screen in good time can cause damage to the screen. Larger
quantities of filtered particles can deform the screen and as an extreme incident
cause the tearing of the sieve. As a result a filter function is not any longer en-
sured.
Unauthorized persons must not operate the cartridge filter with pressure reduc-
er! Persons who operate the cartridge filter with pressure reducer must observe
the operating instructions. Failure to observe these instructions can result in
damage to property and personal injuries.
