Make sure that the scale is positioned upwards when not in use.
ELECTRICAL HAZARD
The device can cause injury if installed improperly. Before proceeding with its installation, compare the data
of the local electrical network with the indications given on the nameplate of the appliance. Only connect the
device if there is compliance. Observe the safety rules.
Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the nominal voltage and the frequency written on the
nameplate comply with the values of the local electrical network: the maximum voltage deviation must be
plus or minus 10%.
The device must be earthed.
Position the appliance so that the plug is easily accessible in order to unplug the appliance if necessary.
NOTE
The device is fitted with a safety system in the event of overheating. If tripped, unplug the device and allow it
to cool. If this protection system operates regularly, it is imperative to contact your dealer.
After automatic shutdown, the device can only be put into service by pressing the Reset button on the back
of the device, wait for the temperature to drop, press the Reset button.
