Battery Charging (see figure A)
Do not use other battery chargers. The supplied battery
charger is designed for the Lithium-Ion battery in your machine.
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the
"Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is empty, the
machine is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The
inserted tool no longer rotates.
Do not continue to press the On/Off
WARNING
switch after the machine has been auto-
matically switched off. The battery can be damaged.
The charging procedure starts as soon as the mains plug of the
battery charger is inserted into the socket and the cordless screw-
driver is afterwards placed on the battery charger 11.
The charge-control indicator 7 shows the charging progress. The
yellow and the green LED flash during the charging procedure
while the red LED lights up. The battery is fully charged when the
3 LEDs go out.
During the charging procedure, the handle of the machine warms
up. This is normal.
Disconnect the battery charger from the mains supply when not
using it for longer periods.
Protect the battery charger against moisture!
Observe the notes for disposal.
Changing the Tool (see figure B)
Use only insert tools with ball catch (compliant with
DIN 3126-E6.3), see picture page. Other screwdriver bits can
only be used with a universal holder with ball catch.
Pull the sleeve of the tool holder 2 toward the front, slide the insert
tool to the stop into the tool holder and release the sleeve again.
