BEFORE STARTING THE JOURNEY
- Avoid shifting your full body weight onto the handlebar grips when braking and accelerating.
- Always place your feet behind each other. The most comfortable stance is achieved with one
foot in front and the second at an angle of 70-90° behind it - similar to skateboarding or surfing.
Brakes:
Always shift your body weight backwards when braking. The braking force is mainly trans-
mitted through the feet and not through the handlebars - therefore it is a much more pleasant
feeling when you are slightly „hanging on the handlebars" instead of leaning forward.
