IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read through all the instructions before starting to use the
appliance. Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
1. T his appliance must only be operated as instructed in this
user manual.
2. T his appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
3. T his appliance is only designed for indoor use. Do not place it
in direct sunlight, high-temperature areas or near computers
or sensitive electronic equipment. Keep the appliance away
from heat sources such as stoves, heaters, etc.
4. P lace the appliance on a firm, even, non-metallic and
waterproof surface. Make sure that it is standing securely
so that it cannot tip over or fall down.
5. M aintain a safety distance of at least 1 meter from
other objects.
6. D o not direct the mist outlet directly at people, walls,
electrical appliances or any objects.
7. O nly connect the appliance to a single-phase AC supply to
the voltage shown on the rating plate.
8. U nwind the power cord completely. Failure to do so could
cause overheating and possible fire hazard.
9. D o not tug at the power cord to disconnect the plug. Do not
touch the power cord with wet hands. Do not remove the
power plug from the power socket while the product is
in use.
10. D o not use accessories, spare parts or components not
expected and / or provided by the manufacturer.
11. D o not use an extension cord or a solid-state speed-control
device. Doing so could cause overheating, fire hazard or
electric shock.
12. D o not cover the mist outlet or put anything on it while the
humidifier is running.
13. A lways switch the appliance off and disconnect the power
plug from the power socket when the appliance is not in use,
during transport and cleaning and before removing the
water tank.
14. I f the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
15. D o not use this appliance if it is damaged or shows any
signs of possible damage or if it is not functioning properly.
Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
16. O nly put clean, cool, tap water in the tank. Do not use hot
water or mineral/distilled water.

17. I n areas where the water is very hard there might be an
output of minerals, noticeable as 'white dust'. To limit this
effect it is recommended to use demineralized water.
18. D o not add any substances into the water (e.g. inhalant,
aromatic substances etc.). This can cause health hazards to
people and could damage the product.
19. D o not remove the filled water tank when the humidifier
is in operation. Do not operate the humidifier without water
or when the water tank is empty. Doing so could damage
the humidifier.
20. D o not touch the ultrasonic transducer when the humidifier
is operating. Doing so could cause burns.
21. W hen a humidifier is used in closed or small rooms, excessive
humidity can condense on furniture, walls and floors. If this
is the case, ventilate the room and/or reduce the output with
the mist regulation knob.
22. C lean the appliance regularly by following the "Cleaning
Instructions".
23. D o not plunge the appliance into water or any other liquids
and do not pour water or any other liquids over it.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Please refer to "Instructions for Use" on page 4.
1. T he ON/OFF light indicates that the appliance is switched on.
2. T he output of steam may not be immediate. Wait a few
moments for the nebulisation chamber to fill with water.
3. T he unit goes off automatically when the water tank
is empty.
