• Do not cover the battery charger with anything.
• Do not use a step up transformer or engine genera-
tor as the power source of the battery charger.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• During charging, the battery charger must be placed
in a well-ventilated area.
• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away
from fluids and metal objects, like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects,
that can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Short-circuiting the battery terminals may
cause burns or a fire.
• Recycle battery and charger according to local
laws. Do not incinerate the battery/charger or
attempt to puncture and crush the battery/charger.
• Do not expose the battery or gas tools loaded with
battery under direct sun light exposure. Prevent
to expose them at temperatures higher than 49°C
(120°F). Overheating the battery can result in
explosion or fire.

Foreseeable hazards

• Information to conduct a risk assessment of these
hazards and implementation of appropriate controls
is essential.
• During operation, debris from workpiece and fasten-
ing/collation system may be discharged.
• When using the gas tool for long periods, the oper-
ator may experience discomfort in arms, shoulders,
neck, or other parts of the body.
• Exposure to vibration can cause disabling damage
to the nerves and blood supply of the hands and
arms.
• If the operator experiences symptoms such as
persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, throbbing,
aching, tingling, numbness, burning sensation, or
stiffness, do not ignore these warning signs. The
operator shall consult a qualified health professional
regarding overall activities.
• While using the gas tool, the operator shall adopt
a suitable but ergonomic posture. Maintain secure
footing and avoid awkward or off-balanced postures.
• Hold the gas tool with a light, but safe, grip because
the risk from vibration is generally greater when the
grip force is higher.
• Residual risks relating to repetitive work hazards
such as duration of use in respect to working posi-
tions and forces may exist. It is advised to consult
EN 1005-3 and EN 1005-4 for such information.

• Slips, trips and falls are major causes of workplace
injury. Be aware of slippery surfaces when operat-
ing the gas tool.
• Proceed with additional care in unfamiliar surround-
ings. Hidden hazards may exist, such as electricity
or other utility lines.
• If the tool is used in an area where there is static
dust, it may spread the dust and cause a hazard.
• Where dust or exhaust hazards are created, the
priority shall be to control them at the point of
emission.
• Avoid dust to be sucked in to the nailer when oper-
ating, as it can cause malfunction.

Operation instructions

Load and unload the fuel cell

• Open the fuel cell door by pulling the door and
rotate (Fig. C)
• Insert the fuel cell into the chamber (Fig. D) . Align
the fuel cell nozzle to the fuel stem on the gas tool.
• Close the fuel cell door.

Load and unload the fastener

• Insert battery (Fig. A) and fuel cell (Fig. B) before
you load the fasteners. If you load the fastener
before the battery and/or fuel cell is connected, the
fastener may be shoot out accidentally.
• Point the nozzle away from any personnel and keep
your finger away from the trigger when loading the
fastener.
For magazine without stopper
• To load the fastener, slide in the fastener strip into
the magazine
• Push the release lever and pull the pusher until it is
behind the fastener strip.
• Gently release the pusher to engage the fastener strip
• To unload the fastener from the magazine, press
the release lever on the pusher and tilt the gas
tool to slide the fastener strip to the rear end of the
magazine.
• Unload the fastener strip by sliding out the fastener
strip.
For 3 steps magazine design, follow the same safe-
ty precaution and continue with following steps
• To load fasteners, pull the pusher to the rear until it
is locked to the magazine at rear position.
• Slide fastener strip into the magazine.
• Gently release the pusher to engage the fastener
strip
• To unload the fastener from the gas tool, pull the
pusher to the rear locking position. Slide the fasten-
er out of the magazine.

Depth of drive adjustment

• The gas tool is equipped with a depth of drive
adjustment. Test the depth of drive on scrap piece
before you start your work.
