LED Glass Kettle
Once the water has reached the set tem-
perature, three beeps are heard and the
heating function switches off. As soon as
the water temperature drops by 10°C, the
water is heated again.
As long as the keep-warm function is
activated, the corresponding control
lamp fl ashes and the LED lighting lights
up. After 30 minutes (2 beeps are heard),
when the button is pressed or when
the kettle is taken off the base station,
the device switches off automatically.

CARE AND DESCALING

Please Note!
■
Regularly descale the device.
■
The device is not dishwasher-safe!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
1. Completely empty the kettle (12).
2. Take the lid (3) off the kettle.
3. Rinse out the kettle and the lid with a
little mild detergent and clear water.
Make sure that no water gets into
the contacts on the bottom of the
kettle! Do not immerse the kettle
in water! This could cause a short
circuit.
4. Dry everything thoroughly.
5. Wipe down the base station (9) with a
dry cloth if necessary.
 
The kettle can be stored on the
base station when it is not being
used. In this case, pull the mains
plug from the plug socket as the
kettle is in stand-by mode while it
is connected to the mains power.
Descaling
The device should regularly be descaled.
Use a standard descaling agent for kettles
for descaling.
1. Pour a mixture of water and descaling
agent into the kettle (12) and switch
on the 100°C boil function. To do this,
follow the instructions in the "Set-Up
and Connection", "Filling the Kettle"
and "Use" chapters.
 
Consult the instructions for using
the descaling agent with regard
to the ratio of water to descaling
agent.
2. Empty the kettle after boiling. Do not
drink this water.
3. Fill the kettle with drinking water and
bring it to the boil at least once more
to remove any residues of the descal-
ing agent. Do not drink this water!
Cleaning the Limescale Filter
1. Pull the limescale fi lter (1) inside the
kettle (12) up (Picture C) and take it out.
2. Clean the limescale fi lter with warm wa-
ter and a little detergent if necessary.
3. Reinsert the limescale fi lter. It must
engage audibly.

STORAGE

• Disconnect the device from the mains
power when it is not going to be used
for a prolonged period. Clean the de-
vice again if necessary (see the "Care
and Descaling" chapter) and let it dry
completely.
• Store the device and all accessories in
a dry, clean, frost-free place that is pro-
tected from direct sunlight and cannot
be accessed by children or animals.
