FILLING THE KETTLE

Fill the kettle (12) with at least 0.5 litres
(MIN marking 11) and no more than
2.0 litres (MAX marking 13). Insuffi cient
water will cause the device to switch
off prematurely. If the MAX marking is
exceeded, water could splash out during
the boiling process. There are two possi-
ble ways to fi ll the kettle:
a. Point the water jet directly at the fi ller
opening (2). The pressure will automat-
ically fl ip it down and the water can
then fl ow into the kettle (Picture B).
b. Take off the lid (3) and pour water into
the kettle directly. Then place the lid
back on. The lid must be heard to
engage.

Please Note!

Do not operate the kettle without wa-
ter or with less water than is required
to reach the MIN marking. The device
could overheat. In this case, the de-
vice switches off. Allow it to cool down
before it is fi lled and used again!
• Place the kettle (12) on the base sta-
tion (9). You will hear two beeps and
the LED lighting (10) will light up once
in all colours.
• Choose one of the functions de-
scribed below (boil water, heat up
water, keep-warm function). After the
end of the function, take the kettle off
the base station and carefully pour the
water into a vessel.
• Clean the device regularly as de-
scribed in the "Care and Descaling"
chapter.
 
All functions can be cancelled at
any time by pressing the
ton (7) or taking the kettle off the
base station.

Boiling Water
Press the
switches on and heats the water up to
100°C. The LED lighting (10) lights up
constantly red.
The device switches off automatically
when the water has boiled. You will hear
two beeps and the LED lighting goes out.
Heating Up (Not Boiling) Water
First press the
immediately afterwards then press the
+ button (6) until the control lamp (5) of
the temperature you want is lit up.
Depending on the temperature, the LED
lighting (10) is lit in the following colour:
50°C green
70°C dark blue
80°C purple
90°C light blue
100°C red
The device switches off automatically
when the water has reached the set tem-
perature. You will hear two beeps and the
LED lighting goes out.
 
If you hear three beeps and the
device switches off again directly,
the chosen temperature is lower
 
or equal to the temperature cur-
rently prevailing in the kettle.
Keep-Warm Function
Heating water and keeping it warm:
