Clamp the tool either in the connection
of a setting fixture or between tips.
Position the measuring probe at the
highest point of the adjustment bars
and set the dial gauge to zero.

Check the radial run-out of the ad-
justment bars or the position for the
radial run-out check
(< < 3 3 µ µ m m ).
Approach the highest point of the in-
dexable insert with the measuring
probe. To do this turn the tool opposite
the cutting direction.
Position the measuring probe axially
along the cutting edge at the highest
cutting point.
