• Only use good quality/name brand batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-
cadmium) batteries.
• If the unit is not going to be used for an extended period of time, please
remove the batteries. Using old, leaking or cheaply made batteries can
cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
• Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can
overheat and rupture. (Follow battery manufacturer's directions).
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire, batteries may leak or explode.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if the batteries are replaced by an incorrect
type. Replacement of batteries with an incorrect type can defeat a
safeguard.
• Batteries cannot be subjected to High or Low extreme temperatures
during use, storage or transportation and low air pressure at high
altitude.
• Leaving batteries in an extremely high temperature surrounding
environment can result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable
liquid or gas. Batteries subjected to extremely low air pressure may
result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
• Disposal of a batteries into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing
or cutting of batteries can result in an explosion.
