SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Before use, check the voltage on the appliance label and only connect the appliance
to sockets that match the voltage of the appliance. If you are not sure whether
your connections meet the requirements, consult an electrician or your electricity
provider.
• Always switch off the motor before inserting the plug into the socket.
• To prevent electric shock, never completely immerse the base of the unit in water or
other liquids.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified person.
• Do not bend the mains cable or let it hang over the work surface so that no one can
get caught on it.
• Do not place the appliance near open stoves, hot ovens or easily inflammable
materials such as curtains or textiles.
• Place the unit on a stable, level surface before use.
• Children from the age of 8 years and mentally, sensory and physically impaired
persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about the
functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them beforehand
and understand the associated risks.
• Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
• Place the unit as close as possible to the power source so that you can unplug it
quickly and easily when needed.
• Check the power cord regularly for damage. Do not use the device with a damaged
power cord.
• Use the device only indoors and only for the specified purpose.
• Keep children away from the appliance and store it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the device without contents and only under supervision.
• Do not touch moving parts with your hands during use.
• Keep the operating instructions and only pass on the device with the operating
instructions.
• Use only original accessories.
• Unplug the machine before cleaning or when no longer in use.
• Switch off and unplug the machine before changing or removing moving parts.
• The device contains parts that are not accessible to the user. Do not remove any
covers or attempt to repair the unit yourself. Repairs may only be carried out by
qualified specialists.
• Do not connect the appliance to multiple sockets, external timers or remote-
controlled sockets.
Note: The device is designed for short-time operation only, i.e. it should not
be operated continuously for more than 4 minutes. Afterwards, switch off the
appliance and let the motor cool down before switching it on again.
