VEGA it's a device working 230V ~ / 50 Hz network electricity, to be used for the nasal aspiration, oral aspiration,
tracheal aspiration of the body liquids (mucus, catarrh or blood) in the adult or in the children. Easily portable
equipment designed for not continuous use 30 min. ON / 30 min. OFF.
Thanks to this characteristics and to the rating that it has, this product is particularly suitable for hospital use, on the
tracheotomized patients, minor surgical applications and post-operative therapy at home.
Made of highly heat resistant, electrically insulated plastic material in conformity with the latest European
safety standard, the product is supplied with a complete polycarbonate autoclavable jar with overflow valve and it is
equipped with aspiration regulator and vacuum indicator located on the front panel.

IMPORTANT SAFETY RULES

1.
When opening packing verifies the device state: always check the presence of damages on the plastic
surface, this can expose under tension internal parts. Also check the main cable integrity.
In case of damage do not connect the plug to the socket. Check integrity before every use.
2.
Before connecting the instrument, always check that the electrical requirements on manufacturer label and
the plug used comply with the electrical network used.
3.
Keep special attention to:
Use only original accessories;
The device can be used only with the bacteriological filter;
Place instrument on stable and flat surfaces and to avoid the blockage of the air inlets on sides;
Do not use in presence of air inflammable anaesthetic, oxygen or nitrous oxide;
Do not touch the instrument with we hands, and avoid contact with liquids;
Keep off the reach of children or not capable people without supervision;
If not used do not leave the instrument connected to network;
Do not pull cable to remove plug from socket; disconnect hold plug with fingers;
Use and keep the instrument in a safe environment, protected from bad weather condition and keep
off excessive heating;

The device must be used for the use it was designed.
A different use must be considered improper and dangerous. Manufacture cannot be considered responsible
for damages due to improper use or connection to an electrical system not complying with current
regulations. Do not use for anything else but the use defined by manufacturer;

Instrument and accessories discharging must be done following current law regulations in every country of
use.
6.
For repairs, exclusively contact technical service and request the use of original spare parts.
Failure to comply with the above can jeopardise the safety of the device;

Particular precautions must be made concerning electromagnetic compatibility. The medical device must be
installed and used according to information supplied with the accompanying documents;
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH EC
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken a special local authority differentiated waste collection or to a dealer providing this service.
Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and
health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain
significant saving in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to dispose of separately the product is
marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.
