Intended Use
∙ The appliance is intended exclusively
for chopping the specified foods and
whipping cream or beating egg whites.
∙ Use the appliance only with the
accessories provided.
∙ Any other use not mentioned in the
instructions is considered improper use
and could result in serious injury or
damage to the appliance.
Before using for the first time
∙ Remove all remaining packaging
material and any promotional stickers
from the appliance. The nameplate must
not be removed.
∙ Clean the appliance as described in the
Cleaning and Care section.
∙ Charge the battery as described in the
Charging the Battery section.
Safety switch
The appliance is equipped with a safety
switch and can only operate when the
working container lid and the motor unit are
fitted to the working container.
Switch Settings
The following settings can be selected:
I
The appliance is switched on at low
speed.
e.g. for chopping meat and ice cubes,
or for mixing
II
The appliance is switched on at high
speed.
e.g. for chopping onions, nuts, herbs;
for whipping cream; for beating egg
whites
Operation
Charging the Battery
∙ Charge the battery regularly, especially
after any long period without use. This
extends battery life and ensures the
longest possible processing cycles.
∙ During the charging process, the
appliance cannot be used.
∙ Plug the power adapter of the power
supply unit provided into the connection
socket of the motor unit.
∙ Connect the power adapter supplied to
the power socket.
∙ The light ring will start to flash.
∙ As soon as the battery is fully charged,
the light ring is continuously lit. When
the battery is empty, the charging
process takes approx. 2.5 hours.
∙ Unplug the power supply unit from the
power socket.
∙ Take the power adapter of the power
supply unit out of the connection socket
for the appliance.
