, What is RENEW Skin Rejuvenation?

The RENEW IPL Skin Rejuvenation system is a Remington breakthrough device designed to improve the
appearance of skin tone and texture and reduce the appearance of age/sun spots and redness on the female
face.
• RENEW utilises Intense Pulsed Light (IPL); the same technology as Professional Dermatologists, optimised
for personal treatment in the privacy of your own home.
, What is Intense Pulse Light (IPL)?

IPL - (Intense Pulsed Light) is a well-established technology used worldwide for over 15 years. RENEW uses
this technology to flash your skin with an intense pulse of light.
, How does IPL technology work for Skin Rejuvenation?
•
The skin is flashed with a pulse of light. Energy in the pulse works under the skin's surface to target melanin,
which is responsible for the skin's darkness in the epidermis. Fig. 1.

The light is absorbed by the melanin and converted into heat which destroys the darker coloured cells. Fig. 2.
• The increased temperate kills pigmented cells, helping to lighten and even skin tone. Fig. 3.

• To avoid targeting (and possibly damaging) dark skin, you should only use RENEW IPL Skin Rejuvenation on
light to medium skin tones (I-IV).
, What to expect from RENEW Skin Rejuvenation.
, Immediately after first treatment:
• Pigmented spots should visibly darken and the treated spot may crust over and flake off within a few days.
• This is completely normal and should be expected.
•
You may experience slight redness or a warm sensation on your skin. This is normal and should disappear
within 24 hours.
, One to two weeks after first treatment:
• Spots in the treated area will begin to lighten and you should start to notice improvements in the overall
tone and texture of your skin.
•
Results aren't immediate, but most users have noticeably lighter and/or fewer spots in less than 1 month
after beginning treatment.
