Be sure to jack up the model during the first start-up, so that the wheels can rotate freely and you can make adjustments to the transmitter
easily if necessary.
Transmitter
Follow the power up sequence:
1.
Throttle / brake lever in neutral position
2.
Steering lever in neutral position
3.
Turn on the transmitter first, then turn on the model.
Otherwise, it can lead to unpredictable reactions of the model!
•
For starting, put the model down in a way that the wheels and drive can turn freely.
•
Check the frequency reach of your transmitter before you start the model.
•
Check the servo reaction to the transmitter signals on the standing model.
•
Ensure that the batteries of the transmitter and receiver are fully loaded!
•
Weak batteries reduece the transmitter reach and lead to error in signal transmission to the receiver. Therefore the model does not
react correctly to the transmitter. End the running immediately and exchange the batteries to new ones or charge the batteries.
•
Do not drive near of high-voltage lines or radio masts or during a storm. Electric fields and athmospheric disruptions can influence the
signal of your transmitter.
•
After running, turn off the model first and then turn off the transmitter.
•
Due to safety- and admission reasons (CE), unauthorized repairing attemps as well as the conversion or changing of the system are
prohibited. Otherwise, the admission of the transmitter system will expire.
Driving
Do not drive when your reaction skills are limited (e.g. due to fatigue, or the influence of drugs or alcohol). Faulty reactions can cause serious
personal injury and property damage. Do also not drive if you should have only the slightliest doubts about the perfect technical state of
your model or transmitter system.
•
Only connect the drive motor after the reception system has been completely installed, as otherwise the drive motor may suddenly
start unintentionally.
•
Always keep direct visual contact with the model.
•
Only operate the model on private property or on designated sites. Observe the conditions and regulations for the terrain.
•
When operating a model, always ensure that body parts or objects are never in the danger zone of motors or rotating parts.
•
Regularly check all screw connections and fastenings, as these can loosen during operation.
•
Immediately stop operating your model in the event of a fault and eliminate the cause of the malfunction before continuing to use the
model.
•
Avoid driving at low outside temperatures, as this will reduce the battery capacity and cause the plastic of the body to lose its elasticity
and splinter easily.
•
Do not expose your model or remote control system to direct sunlight, moisture, heavy dirt, or high heat / cold for extended periods of
time.
•
Only use original spare parts.
Let the model cool down for at least 15 minutes after every battery usage!
Do Not Drive:
•
In gatherings of people.
•
In the direction of persons or animals.
•
In nature reserves or near of animals.
•
At night or in living rooms.
•
Near of high-voltage lines or radio masts or during a storm. Electric fields and athmospheric disruptions can influence the signal of your
transmitter.
•
When raining or on moist terrain, otherwise the electronical parts could get damaged.
•
Please note that RC models must not be operated on terrain with public passenger and motor transport.
Battery And Charger
Please only use special RC chargers and batteries. Seek advise in a modelling shop. Never store your batteries in a fully loaded condition.
•
Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children and pets, as they can inadvertently swallow the batteries / accumu-
lators. In this case, immediately consult a doctor!
•
Expired or damaged batteries can cause burns in contact. If skin or eyes get in contact with the electrolyte, rinse immediately with
clean water and seek medical attention. Use suitable protective gloves when disposing of the defective battery.
•
If you notice any signs of smell, discoloration, excessive heating or deformation of the battery, disconnect the battery immediately from
the charger or the consumer. Dispose of the battery!
•
Conventional alkaline batteries (1.5V) are intended for single use only and must then be properly disposed of.
•
Dispose of empty batteries or defective batteries enivronmetally correctly at the authorized collection points. Disposal over household
