Adjustment valve
The adjustment valve consists of a pivot (at the bottom) and a rotary valve (at the top). This valve
allows the steam to constantly be released by regulating the interior pressure of the cooker. The
user can change this component. For more information on cleaning and maintenance, consult
section 6, "Cleaning and maintenance".
Safety valve - Depressurisation
The safety valve consists of a lever that also allows depressurisation. This lever will carry out this
function if the adjustment valve fails. The user can change this component. For more information
on cleaning and maintenance, consult section 6, "Cleaning and maintenance"."
BEFORE EACH USE
1.- Make sure the lid seal is fixed well into place and that the lip of the seal is not stuck (1).
If it is stuck, put a little bit of oil on it.
2.- Make sure the regulation valve holes are not closed. The holes should be easily visible (2).
3.- Place the regulator valve on the lid and press it against the support piece. Make sure that it is
correctly placed on the support piece (4).
4.- Make sure the safety valve is not blocked and is working properly. Lightly press the valve
plunger from inside the lid. The valve should move easily (3).
5.- Place the lid horizontally and make sure that it is correctly centered with respect to the body of
the pot (5).
6.- After putting the cap into place, turn the knob in the direction that is indicated by the arrow until
the locking bridge and the handles are touching. Once in this position, turn the knobs two
more times in the same direction (one turn means one 360º revolution)

The pressure cooker will be ready to place on the heat source ONLY after
completing these steps.
