Pulling the in-line fuse
switch-disconnectors

To remove the in-line fuse switch-disconnector proceed as follows:
Step
Isolate feeder and verify dead state at the connecting cables (pull bach covers if

necessary).
2 Pull LV HRC fuses.
3 Undo connecting cables from main circuit and tie back if necessary.
4 Undo any auxiliary connections to fixed- mounted part of cubicle.
Using a screwdriver, undo the fastening screws of the strips on the right and left-
hand sides of the vertical front section. For the right-hand side, the ammeter

and/or fuse monitoring indicator may have to be pulled out beyond the front. A
ratchet with short Torx insert facilitates undoing of the screws.

Step Procedure
1 Close and secure front flap.
Swing out the handle
2 and grasp it with the
left hand.
Now insert the finger-
tips of your right hand
in the lateral cutout of
the switching device
cover on the right near
3 the lock. Using both
hands simultane-
ously, pull the swit-
ching device away
from the distribution
bus.
After separating the device from the distribution bus, place one hand under the

device and pull it out beyond the cubicle front.
Procedure
WARNING
Do not allow any objects or fingertips to come between
the switching device and the distribution busbar duct, as
the device's isolating contacts are still live!
