TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The unit will not turn
on or there is no
sound.
The device can be
switched on but no
sound can be heard.
The sound comes
exclusively from one
channel.
There is no sound from
some zones.
The instrumental
sound is reversed in
stereo playback.
The unit does not
work properly with the
remote control.
Potential cause
The mains cable is damaged or
the mains plug is not inserted in
the socket.
No speakers connected.
The unit is muted or the volume is
at the minimum setting
The connectors are not inserted
correctly.
The connectors are not inserted
correctly.
In some zones, the volume setting
is on Minimum.
Wrong speaker polarity or wrong
input polarity.
The batteries are dead.
The batteries were inserted the
wrong way round.
The remote control is too far
away from the unit.
There is an obstacle between the
unit and the remote control.

Possible solution
Check the mains cable for
damage or insert the mains plug
into the socket.
Connect with the speaker cable.
Press the MUTE button or adjust
the volume.
Insert the connector plugs
correctly.

connections have been made
correctly.
