Connect the left pedal (41) to the left crank arm and tighten it with tool (B) while tightening the
nut (69) with tool (C).
Connect the right pedal (42) to the right crank arm and tighten it with tool (B) while tightening
the nut (70) with tool (C).
Note that the right pedal should be tightened clockwise and the left pedal counterclockwise.
