Use only fresh branded batteries and change spent bat-
teries immediately. your hearing system specialist will al-
ways keep fresh disposable/rechargeable batteries ready
in stock for you.
Remove disposable/rechargeable batteries from the hea-
ring systems if you are not going to use them for a long
time. Always change the battery on a table top with so-
mething soft laid on it.
Important! Do not throw disposable or rechargeable
batteries onto a fire, do not recharge, do not reverse the
polarity and do not allow accidental contact with metal
objects or other batteries – batteries can leak or explode,
causing injuries and damaging your hearing system.
Spent batteries/worn-out rechargeable batteries do not
belong in household waste. your hearing system specia-
list will take them back and dispose of them in an environ-
mentally friendly way.
Do not store hearing systems, disposable/rechargeable
batteries and other accessories within reach of babies,
small children or pets as there is a danger of swallowing
and suffocation. Consult a doctor or hospital immediately if
hearing systems, batteries or accessories are swallowed.

Ensure that babies, children or confused people who have
to wear hearing systems are suitably supervised.
Do not use your hearing systems (or their accessories) in
areas where there is a risk of explosion (e. g. mines).
Do not wear your hearing systems in the shower or when
you are applying makeup, perfume, aftershave, hairspray
or cream.
Do not wear your hearing systems during radiothermy,
medical treatments involving strong magnetic or radio
frequency fields (e. g. magnetic resonance tomography –
MRt, X-rays) or near microwaves.
When using mobile phones and walkie-talkies and when
in the vicinity of transmitters, your hearing system may be
subject to interference. If possible, try other telephones,
or ask your hearing system specialist.
Some countries impose restrictions on the use of radio
transmission devices. Please consult the relevant local au-
thorities for further information.
If you experience allergic reactions after wearing your
new hearing system for a short time, please consult your
hearing system specialist immediately.
