When selecting the installation site for the appliance, make sure
that it will not be exposed to direct, intensive sunlight, vibrations,
dust, heat, cold and dampness. There may not be any strong
transformers or motors in proximity to the appliance.
The air intake openings (1) in the front panel as well as the ventila-
tor openings (15) on the back of the appliance may not be covered
up under any circumstances! When installing the rack during
operation, always remove both rack panels!
Only operate the power amplifier on a stable surface that is not
sensitive to heat and in a horizontal position. Otherwise, the air
circulation will not function correctly.
Non-observance of these notices may lead to damages to the
appliance.
Make sure you install the appliance safely as the high weight of
the amplifier poses a substantial risk of accidents.
The dimensions of the power amplifier are indicated in the following drawing:

After you have completed these set-
tings, you only need to control the vol-
ume via the volume controller on the
audio source.
Should you notice humming noises dur-
ing playback, put the GROUND LIFT
switch (17) in the position "LIFT".
To turn off the stereo, first turn off the
power amplifier with the mains switch
(5) and then the audio sources.

Function of the Display LEDs

LEDs LIMIT (8):
LEDs SIGNAL (2):

Excess volumes may cause damages to
the speakers and the amplifier.
An overstrain can be easily detected by
the occurring distortions.
You have to repeat these adjustments
after every change to the connections.
The connection between the amplifier's
earth and the grounding of the housing
is separated. This prevents earth loops
(the cause of humming).
Non-observance of this sequence may
lead to cracking sounds that may dam-
age the speakers.
The respective limiter cuts in and the
power amplifier is operated at its limit.
The cut-in of the automatic limiter pre-
vents overloading. The limiter cannot be
switched off.
There is a signal at the respective input
The respective end stage is turned on
The protection circuit of the respective
end stage has responded. Remedy error
(see "Troubleshooting")
The power amplifier is working in mono
The power amplifier is properly supplied
with power.
