A 5cm safety margin should be maintained between the body of
the device and other objects to allow adequate heat dissipation.
Not doing so may cause damage to the device.
The amplifier is quite heavy so make sure that it is well placed or
on a stable surface to avoid unnecessary accidents.

Inserting the batteries into the remote control

Keep batteries away from children.
Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
Remove the batteries if the device is not going to be used for an
extended period of time.
Do not leave the batteries lying around. There is the risk of them
being swallowed by children or pets. If batteries are swallowed,
call a doctor immediately!
Do not short-circuit the batteries or throw them into a fire. Never
recharge the batteries. Doing so could cause an explosion.
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause burns if they come into
contact with the skin. For this reason, you should wear suitable
protective gloves.
• Slide up the cover of the battery compartment on the rear of the remote control
and remove it.
• Insert two new 1.5 V micro-batteries (AAA) into the battery compartment, while
ensuring that the polarity markings are matched correctly. The correct polarity is
impressed in the bottom of the battery compartment.
• Slide the cover back onto the battery compartment.
• If the range of the remote control diminishes, or the remote control stops working,
replace the batteries as described above.
• To improve the length of the service life, use only alkaline batteries.
• Do not mix batteries with a different charging state, batteries from different manu-
facturers, or batteries and rechargeable batteries.
