4. Troubleshooting

Problem
Solar panel does not appear to be heating the pool.
Water from the solar heating panel does not flow
back to the pool.
Bubbles continue to appear from the pool water inlet
during operation.
Solar panel is leaking.
Possibilities / Solutions
- Make sure that water is flowing through solar
heater by checking the flow at the pool
return.
- Note the weather. Has it been cloudy or
raining?
- Use your pool cover at night to reduce heat
loss.
- The size of the pool may require additional
solar panels.
- Check whether all connectors are properly
connected.
- Check whether there is still air inside the
solar heater.
- Turn of the power supply of the filtration
system, remove the flexible hose of the outlet
pipe for the solar heater, when there is
steady water from the outlet, then to connect
the flexible hose using the stainless-steel
clamp.
- Check the connections for leaks.
- Check the flow rate.
- Check the tubing for leaks or clogging.
- Check all the unions to see whether they are
properly connected. Make sure all the
stainless-steel clamps are screwed on tight
enough.
