Installing the strainer holder
NOTE

The following symbols refer to
the mark (6) on the brewing unit
.
Hold the strainer holder (12) using the
handle (11) under the
brewing unit (6) and push the strained
holder into the brewing unit from be-
low (image D1).
NOTE
ﾓ
Take care not to tilt the strainer
holder.
Turn the handle (11) of the strainer
holder (7) to the right until the handle
is under the symbol
Removing the strainer holder
Turn the handle (11) of the strainer
holder (12) to the left until the handle
is under the symbol

Take the strainer holder out of the
strainer holder from below.

Fill the water tank with water as de-
scribed in the section Filling with
water (page 30).
Put the strainer insert into the holder
as described in the section Installing
the strainer insert (S. 33).
Insert the trainer holder (12) without
coffee powder into the appliance as
described in the section Installing the
strainer holder (page 34).
Place a cup onto the drip tray (14) un-
der the strainer holder (12).
Press the / (31). the green indi-
cator lamp "Espresso machine" (29)
and the orange indicator lamp "Heat-
ing" (30) light up and the appliance is
heated up.
After approx. 3 minutes, the orange
indicator lamp "Heating" (30) extin-
guishes.
Turn the function selection switch (5)
to the position and allow the hot
water to run into the cup.
Turn the function selection switch (5)
to the middle position when the cup
is full.
