Safety instructions
1) Comply with the installation and safety instructions in the Operating Instructions.
2) Install the device according to the manufacturer's instructions and any other valid standards
and regulations.
3) Install the device so that an ingress protection of at least IP20 is achieved to EN 60529.
When installing without terminals, use a housing with an ingress protection of at least IP20.
4) The device is an associated apparatus and may only be used outside explosion hazardous
areas. There should be a distance (thread measure) of at least 50 mm between
intrinsically-safe and non-intrinsically-safe terminals (e.g. to next device row)
5) The pertinent guidelines must be observed when intrinsically safe circuits are connected
together acc. EN 60079-14 (Proof of Intrinsic Safety).
6) The intrinsically safe input circuits are safely galvanically isolated against the other circuits
(mains connection and contact circuit) up to a peak value of the rated voltage of 375 V.
7) Permitted ambient temperature:
Ta ≤ 60 °C for individual mounting
Ta ≤ 50 °C for row mounting
Ta ≤ 40 °C in protective housing (2 devices)
