Safety instructions for DG 57
1) Install according to the manufacturer's instructions and other valid standards and guidelines.
2) The detector DG 57-H with terminal housing in type of protection "flameproof" must be connected using suitable cable or
conduit entry devices that conform to the requirements of EN 50 018, Clause 13.1 and 13.2, and for which a separate
test certificate exists.
3) Cable entries on the detector type DG 57-H that are not in use must be sealed in accordance with EN 50 018, Clause
11.9.
4) Cable and conduit entry devices (Pg cable glands) that do not conform to Items 2 and 3 may not be used for the detector
type DG 57-H.
5) The connecting cable of the detector type DG 57-... must be armoured and routed such that it is protected against
damage.
6) If necessary, e.g. when a safety barrier is used, an equipotential bonding line with cross-section 4 mm² can be connected
to the housing.
7) The cable screening is to be connected to the terminals in the interior of the housing.
