Application Possibilities
The base unit can be mounted in three different
positions:
Mounting position (see figure
In this position, the lengthways/angle guide 15 is
mounted as a aid for guiding the workpiece and
its angle setting cannot be changed. This mount-
ing position is suitable for:
– Breaking of edges
– Flat sanding
– Chamfering
– Parallel sanding
Mounting position ( see figures
The lengthways/angle guide 15 can be continu-
ously adjusted in its angle position from 45°
to 90° (15° scale divisions) This mounting posi-
tion is suitable for:
– Angle sanding of end surfaces
– Mitre joint sanding
With the lengthways/angle guide removed, tools
or knives, for example, can be sharpened in this
mounting position.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and the ventilation slots clean.
Clean the drive, tensioning 13 and idler 12 rollers
regularly.
WARNING! Important instructions for con-
necting a new 3-pin plug to the 2-wire cable.
The wires in the cable are coloured according to
the following code:
strain relief
live = brown
neutral = blue
Do not connect the blue or brown wire to the
earth terminal of the plug.
Important: If for any reason the moulded plug is
removed from the cable of this machine it must be
disposed of safely.

in manufacturing and testing procedures, repair
should be carried out by an after-sales service

Typically the A-weighted noise levels of the prod-
uct are: sound pressure level: 85 dB (A); sound

Environmental Protection

Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste.
The machine, accessories and packaging should
be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycled paper
manufactured without chlorine.
The plastic components are labelled for catego-
rized recycling.
