Initial commissioning

Bleeding the lubrication lines

Before the initial commissioning, the lubrication lines and the lubrication brushes
must be air bled or completely fi lled with grease.
Use the special delivery PURGE of the lubrication unit (see page 9).

Carry out the special delivery PURGE until grease leaks at the lubricating
brushes.

Remove excess grease below the lubrication brushes.

Initial lubrication of the guide rail of the linear section

Before initial commissioning, manually grease the guide rails of the linear section
with grease of NLGI consistency class 2 suitable for rolling bearings. This is also
required if the operational lubrication units LU 2/LS are used.
