OPERATION

Before using the appliance for the first time
1. Insert the baking tray and wire shelf
2. Set the function dial to top / bottom grill. Set the temperature to 230°C and
heat the oven empty for 10 minutes.
Note: The oven may produce smoke and/or a burning smell when pre-heating.
This is not indicative of a defect.
Temperature control dial
Using the temperature control dial, set the temperature of the oven so that it is
best suited to cook the meal you have prepared.
Function setting
Choose either top grill, bottom grill or top/bottom grill depending on the meal
you want to prepare. You will be able to tell by the operation lights whether the
heating elements are currently on.
1. Set the arrow indicator on the timer to
the desired amount of minutes.
2. Turn the timer dial clockwise. The oven
will turn itself off once the se t time
has elapsed and give off a tone to alert
the user. If you want to set the timer for
less than 5 minutes, turn the dial past 6
minutes and then slowly turn it back to
the desired time.
3. The oven can also be manually switched
off in use by turning the timer dial anti-
clockwise to the OFF position.
Note: If the inside of the oven is soiled, cooking time may take slightly longer
than usual.
