5 Cleaning, care and disinfection

5.1 General
All Petermann repositioning and transfer aids can be wet cleaned. Use warm water and a mild cleaning agent. If
applicable, wipe the product off with a moist cloth and then let it dry thoroughly. Don't use any scouring or bleaching
agents or any sharp-edged objects for cleaning.
When necessary, we recommend wipe disinfection with the product Trionic
information upon request). As alternatives to our proven disinfectant Trionic
disinfectants for wipe disinfection:

When using products marked with an *, wipe down again using a water-soaked cloth after disinfection has been
completed, in order to remove residues and prevent build-up. For wipe disinfection, please be sure to always follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
Always follow the care instructions on the label of every product as well as the information in the respective user
manual.
5.2 Board
The body itself is very tough, has an inert surface and can be cleaned with conventional household cleaners (see
item 5.1.). The board can be disinfected without a problem using alcohol-based disinfectant solution as well as
Trionic (DGHM/VAH approval, further information upon request). Then ensure that it dries fully. We would be

happy to send you a detailed report of the board's chemical resistance upon request. Due to the temperature
sensitive structure of the material, the board is not well suited to autoclave applications.
5.3 Textile Cover
The Rollboard Vision Textile Cover can be machine washed at 60°C and dried at low temperatures (45° – 50°C). Use
a mild detergent! The use of bleaching agents, alcohol or fabric softeners can permanently impair the properties of
the Textile Cover. Fabric materials and similar surfaces are generally incompatible with disinfectants containing
alcohol and/or aldehydes. Do not autoclave!
