1 General Information

Thank you for choosing a Petermann product.
Please read the user manual carefully before using the product for the first time!
The current understanding in modern occupational health and safety is that people in nursing professions
experience significant work-related physical strain. Back injuries are common. There are many situations in which a
patient has to be transferred from a bed, a wheeled stretcher, ambulance stretcher, an X-Ray table or a wheelchair
to a different stretcher or seat. The strain on the user and the patient / care-dependent can be reduced significantly
through the use of transfer aids.
The use of transfer aids should be conditional upon the user having learned to use the equipment properly. The
user has to decide for themselves what equipment is suitable to the patient's situation and the intended sequence
of movements.
The Rollboard Vision is part of a product line which is used specifically to support the repositioning and/or transfer
of patients in hospitals and other health care facilities.
The Rollboard Vision is a safe transfer aid, which facilitates transfers from bed to bed or other recumbent positions
in a manner pleasant and comfortable for the patient as well as simple and back-friendly for the users.
The product may only be used for the specified purpose and under the specified conditions.
The information in this user manual is for the patient who is being transferred and moved, as well as the user
performing the transfer / position change.
