•
Once the required height has been reached, close the valve no. 1, and
the load will remain lifted.
•
When the load is lifted, you can disconnect compressed air system (all
valves must be closed).
8.2. LOWERING
To lower the load:
–
Open valve no. 2 (lever position parallel to the valve axis) – the jack
starts lowering. Keep the valve open until required height is reached.
The load will be lowered partially or completely.
•
Use the handle to pull the jack from under the vehicle.
8.3. STOPPING
In order to stop lifting or lowering of the jack, close its valves.
9. MAINTENANCE
This chapter contains guidelines for the machine maintenance to keep it in
excellent condition for a long time.
Recommended actions must be considered as a minimum for correct
operation of the machine.
All actions related to cleaning and maintenance of the machine can be
carried out only with the compressed air system disconnected.
Before jack operation:
A - check compressed air system, the pressure must be within range 6 to 8
bars. When setting the pressure, correct the value only upwards.
B - dry air with condensate in the filter. Check amount of compressed air.
If there's too much, check and inform the operator to make necessary
changes.
Each day at the end of the work:
•
Clean the machine, blow through the cylinder, remove all residues of
dust, fats and other substances.
Once a month:
•
Clean the filter or replace when necessary. Clean or replace the filter in
accordance with the manual.
•
Check the compressed air system.
•
Make sure that all warning labels are in place.
When the jack has not been in use for a long time:
•
Overhaul the device, replace broken parts.
•
Return the machine for repair.
•
Store the machine in a dry place.
Following the above described guideline will ensure flawless operation of
the machine.
10. DISPOSAL
Regulations require that the user operates the jack correctly, worn out parts
must be sorted, metal and plastic parts separately, in order to recycle.
When the jack wears off, the user must process wastes such as:
•
plastic,
•
oil and grease.
Once sorted, all worn out parts must be disposed of by specialised company.
11. TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter contains table with advice necessary for solving problems that
may appear when operating the machine.
When the problem occurs during machine operation, disconnect it from
compressed air system immediately. Notice of the machine malfunctioning
and then you can identify the problem.
