1. General information

You bought a technical device, the handling is easy and simple, but requieres the observance of certain
precautions. We therefore ask you to read the following instructions carefully.
For the operation of the filter system, you need a skimmer (surface skimmer). Either an integrated skimmer
built into the pool wall or a suspended skimmer attached to the pool wall.
1.1.

Positioning of the filter pump

Make sure there is enough space between the skimmer and the water inlet of the filter pump, so that there is
sufficient margin of safety around the pool wall. It is advisable to place the filter system on, for example,
concrete slabs. Make sure they are level. Never place the filter system in the grass (danger of flooding or risk
of overheating).
1.2.

Placement in a filter shaft

If you have a partial or complete inground your pool, it makes sense to place the filter pump in a shaft that is
connected to the edge of the pool. If you place the filter pump in a shaft, you must ensure that the shaft cannot
fill up with water. To do this, you must install a drainage pipe (gravel) in the filter shaft so that rainwater can
seep away. Ideally, there would be a direct connection to the drain in the sump of the filter shaft (or to the
wastewater pump with automatic float switch). It is important to ensure that the filter shaft is not sealed airtight
as this can lead to damage to the pump from condensation. The size of the filter shaft must be determined in
such a way that maintenance on the filter system can also be carried out in it.
1.3.

Necessary accessories

Supplies such as hoses, hose clamps and filter media are not included, but available at your pool dealer.
