At this point, the pressure and internal temperature are still very high. The lid
has a safety function and cannot be opened at this time.

Important notes
• If you are preparing sticky foods, the pressure valve should not be raised until
the WARM indicator light stops flashing and the float drops down. Otherwise,
food may get into the drain valve.
• You cannot open the lid as long as the pot is still pressurized. The lid can only
be opened when the pressure has been completely released. It takes a while
until the pressure is completely released. We recommend you to wait until
then. Alternatively, you can unplug the lid and cover it with a damp towel to
speed up the cooling process.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning.
• Clean the base with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or spray
water on it.
• Remove the condensation tank and wash it. Then dry it and put it back in
place.
• Wash the inside of the lid thoroughly. Do the same for the sealing ring, the
pressure valve, the outlet valve and the float valve. Wipe them with a dry cloth.
• Wash the inner pot with a soft sponge or brush and then dry the inner pot
with a dry, soft cloth.
• Allow the unit and all parts to dry completely before putting it back into
operation.
