THE COOKING PROCESS AT A GLANCE

1. heating process
After connecting, the heating process starts. Pressure is built up during the
heating process. The cooking time depends on the food and the quantity. If the
food is only in the lower part of the inner pot, the cooking time is shorter than if
food is in the whole pot. Make sure that the pressure valve is in the „SEAL" position
during cooking, this is the only way to build up pressure inside the pot.
2. hold pressure
When the internal pressure meets the specified conditions, the cookpot will
automatically hold pressure. The cooking pot automatically switches from
„heating process" to „pressure hold". The display shows the cooking time, which is
automatically counted down.
3. release pressure
As soon as the cooking time has elapsed, the keep warm function starts. The
pressure inside is automatically released. As long as the pot is still under pressure,
you cannot open the lid. The lid can only be opened when the pressure has been
completely released. It takes a while until the pressure is completely released. We
recommend you to wait until then. Alternatively, you can pull the plug and cover
the lid with a damp towel to speed up the cooling process.
If you want to open the lid right away, move the pressure valve to the „RELEASE"
position and manually release the pressure. Be extremely careful when doing this,
as hot water or steam may escape.
