Option Raster-needle lock (RNA) with sensor
In the AXDV-P50 a raster needle sensor can be optionally installed; the inductive
sensor can be used to monitor whether the needle is open.

Adjusting the sensor
The function of the raster needle sensor is depicted in the figure below.
The needle stroke must be at least 14 „raster", see chap. setting the needle
stroke for needle sensing!
Setting the needle stroke for needle sensing
1. Activate device (open the needle)
2. Close the needle (nozzle) by turning the regulating screw clockwise (see chap.
operating instructions)
(Important: Excessive clockwise turning causes permanent damage to
the nozzle!)
3. Do not further activate device
4. Then turn it anticlockwise (see cap. Operating instructions) to open at least 14
„raster"
5. Set the raster stroke as required, observe needle stroke of at least 14
„raster" for correct function of needle sensing
6. The device can be completely put back into operation
