Do not dry clean.
Do not bleach.
Iron with a maximum iron sole temperature
of 110 °C without steaming. Steam ironing
may cause irreparable damage.
Do not use any softener.
Damaged shoewear, inserts and horny skin at the feet can
damage the stockings.
Stockings with a silicone band should be turned inside
out before washing.
If Velcro fastener or zippers are fastened at the stockings
close them carefully before washing.
Advice for fast drying: Wrap stockings in a towel and
squeeze thoroughly e.g. stamp on the towel to squeeze the
moisture out of the stockings and into the towel.
Indications
Wearing compression stockings and tights is
indicated in the following cases:
Varicosis
• Primary and secondary varicosis
• Varicoses during pregnancy
• Supporting venous sclerosing
• After vein-surgical interferences
Thromboembolism
• Thrompophlebitis as well as condition
after healed phlebitis
• Deep leg venous thrombosis
• Condition after thrombosis
• Postthrombotic syndrome
• Thrombosis prophylaxis with mobile patients
Chronic Veinous Insufficiency (CVI)
• CVI stage I to III after Widmer e.g. C1S-C6 after CEAP
• Ulcer prevention and ulcer therapy
• Guidance vein insufficiency
• Angiodysplasia
Oedema
• Lymphoedema
• Oedema during pregnancy
• Posttraumatic oedema
• Post-surgical oedemas
• Cyclically idiopathic oedemas
• Lipoedema from stadium III, lipo-lymph-oedema
• Phlebo-lymph oedema
• Congestions caused by immobility (arthrogenic stasis
congestion syndrome, paresis and semi-paresis of the
limbs
Other indications:
• Treatments of burns
• Treatments of scares
The class of compression is determined by
the attending doctor.
For hygienic reasons, this product is intended for one
person only.

Contraindications

Please refrain from using compression stockings
in the following cases:
Absolute contraindications
• Advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease
• Decompensated heart diseases
• Septic phlebitis
• Phlegmasia coerulea dolens
Relative contraindications
• Concomitant dermatoses
• Intolerance to compression stocking fabric
• Sensory disturbances of the limb
• Advanced peripheral neuropathy
• Primary chronic arthritis
If you observe these contraindications, COMPRESSANA
can not be made liable for the consequences.
Risks and side effects:
Wear compression stockings only after consulting your doc-
tor and observe the instructions of the medical personnel.
Medical compression stockings can cause skin necroses
and stress damage on peripheral nerves, in particular with
inappropriate handling. If pain or negative changes (skin pro-
voking) during ordered application should arise, immediately
contact your doctor.
In case of sensory and/or wound healing disturbances (e.g.
diabetic diseases) implicating a skin lesion, badly healing
impairments can develop unnoticed. Patients of this group
require special control as well as a specific instruction about
particular risks and precaution possibilities.
If there are incompatibilities materials and substance of
content please consult your doctor, pharmacist or specialist
retailer before use.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damage and injuries
caused by inappropriate handling, non-observance of the
instructions or misuse.
Disposal
There are no special disposal criteria. Compression
products can be disposed with household refuse and
the packaging material with paper recycling.
