Donning- and doffing aids
The COMPRESSANA donning aids facilitate donning and doffing of compression hosiery. Friction on the skin is reduced and skin
as well as the fabric become protected against damages. COMPRESSANA donning aids can be prescribed by doctors.

for moisty or lotioned legs.
Material composition
For precise information/specifics please see the
label sewn in your compression stockings. All
yarns used are resistant to sunlight and natural
rubber. COMPRESSANA compression stockings are free of
latex and rubber.
Durability/Storability
Store at room temperature and in a dry
place. Avoid heat and moisture. In the case
of series productions, the maximum storage
duration is 36 months. A 6-month service life of the compres-
sion garments follows that period. The time of use of the
medical product is printed onto the box label with an
hour glass symbol.
Tailor-made items are products that are designed for immediate
use. Since the body size and dimensions may change due to
the progression of an illness or specific personal circumstances,
tailor-made products are designed for 6 months of use. After 6
months of use, a renewed measuring of the body dimensions
by a medical specialist becomes necessary.
In case of item damage please contact your specialist
retailer or dispensing chemist. Do not attempt to mend
stockings yourself as this could affect the medical effect.

Warranty

The warranty period is 6 months starting from first use, how-
ever not longer than up to the expiration date indicated on the
packing as compression stockings are subject to a material
and wearing caused aging. Made-to-measure garments are
products for immediate use and are not suitable for storage.
They are not provided with a best-before-date.
Please retain the fabric label and the packaging label.
The warranty/guarantee also extends to the use of
COMPRESSANA accessories.
Risk category/medical devices
Medical compression stockings are medical devices in accord-
ance to the Medical Devices Directive and correspond to the
risk class 1. In the event of complaints and returns connected
to the product, such as damages to the knitted fabric or a

In case of restricted mobility or disfunctions of
fingers/hand the special metal construction of
COMPRESSANA MASTER facilitates hassle
free donning and doffing of stockings – wit-
hout strenuous bending, while sitting and
without exertion of force.

The simple and cheap donning aid. The
particularly sliding cloth enables donning
of stockings without friction resistance.
Also simplifies donning in case of wound
dressings or bandages at foot or leg.

directly. The manufacturer or the responsible authority of the
member state is to be notified only in the event of a severe
incident that leads to a significant worsening of health or death.
Severe incidents are defined in article 2 no 65 of Regulation
(EU) 2017/745 (MDR).
Quality mark RAL
The Medical Compression Hosiery Quality
Assurance RAL-GZ 387/1 ensures safety
by means of higher quality guidelines and
test specifications. Products that meet the
requirements are marked with this symbol
on the insert label. Manufacturing in compliance
to RAL is mandatory for prescription and reimburse-
ment by statutory health insurance a.o. in Germany.
Wash and care references
Wash your compression stockings every day if possible.
Washing the compression stockings serves not only the
hygiene, but also restores form and stress and thus the full
medical effect.
Wash before wearing. Please wash the stocking separately
the first time (colour may bleed).
Turn inside out before washing.
Machine wash using a mild washing deter-
gent and a gentle, delicate washing cycle at
40º C. We recommend the use of a special
COMPRESSANA washing bag.
If you wash by hand it is advisable to use
a mild washing detergent and lukewarm
water. Rinse out well, do not wring. .
May be dried in a tumble drier. Low tem-
perature, maximum starting temperature
is 60°C.
